A New Arrival

 My friends Kayleen and Bryan (and big brother Harley) welcomed

Weston Michael into the world on Thursday afternoon. 

Born July 7, 2011:

 He weighed 7 pounds, 15 ounces and has a head full of dark hair! 

Congratulations guys!  He's absolutely beautiful!!

Here's Miss America JUST after giving birth.  AND she tells me she pushed only a
handful of times and he was here in 15 minutes.
I hope this means second babies come along much faster and easier....

I just have to point out some really

cool coincidences here that I think are

neat with our two families: 

Their first little boy, Harley's birthday is on February 7th

Weston's birthday is 7.7.11

Both boys weighed the exact same weight at birth: 7 pounds, 15 ounces

Our wedding anniversary is October 7th

There are exactly 7 letters in all 3 of Beckett's names.

If Beckett had been a girl, we were going to name her Harper.  However,

Victoria and David Beckham have beat us to the punch with the

arrival of their girl, Harper Seven Beckham. 

Speculation is tying the name to the baby's weight at birth,

 in the seventh month and seventh hour and to her dad's old jersey number.
If the baby had been a boy and they beat US to the punch, it would have been
Beckett Beckham...........just sayin'

Lake Weekend

Taking a 7.5 month old anywhere is feat in itself.  We only went to the lake for ONE night but managed to pack plenty of stuff.  Most the toys were pointless. 

He has more fun just watching and observing than anything. 

Baby B doesn't show up until the last few pictures in this post. 

Nonna and Gigi were at Gigi's lake house for a girl's weekend, so they came and

kidnapped him for a few hours.

It was really nice to be able to have a bit of time alone but

I was really ready to get my smooches and hugs once they brought him back.

Elizabeth Shay is the funniest little girl!  She's about 6 months older than
Stinkerboy, so it's fun to see how he'll develop in the next few months. 

Everytime I visit their lake house, I want a joggling board.

I took this picture from the porch....I bet the word "no" was probably being used a few

times in this conversation...

I think Chad likes the joggling board as much as I do.. ..
